Lectures given by PERMANENT members of our team

Researchers from our research unit give lectures in several subjects:

  • All our researchers give lectures at INALCO (Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales) in the South-East Asia, Upper Asia, Pacific departments:
    - Social anthropology of Upper Asia
    - Himalayan Geography
    - Nepal's history and religion
    - Tibetan history and civilisation

Participation of our team in PhD courses

All permanent researchers in the unit regularly contribute to various PhD courses: University of Paris Ouest Nanterre-La Défense, Paris VII, INALCO, EPHE, University of Provence, etc.

In addition, students from the University of Paris Ouest Nanterre-La Défense, INALCO, University of Paris VII and other teaching establishments can be affiliated with our research unit from the Master of Science level onwards. Our team caters for INAPG students over their training period and their DEA (Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies) postgraduate degree course.

Our team contributes to the DEA (Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies) postgraduate degree course on "Geography and Development Practices" and welcomes students taking this course.

Since October 2004, the research unit organises seminars that are open to students:

The seminar "Transmission process among religious specialists", organised by Aurélie Névot since 2011, counts towards postgraduate courses at the University of Paris Ouest Nanterre-La Défense.
